If you are one of the 7 million fantasy baseball fans in the U.S. and you happen to own a Ford, then you are in luck. The Sync radio now lets you receive weekly player updates.
You get a list of weekly hitting and pitching leaders in both the American and National league, hands free via voice commands. It’s part of the same Sync service that delivers traffic, weather, news and sports scores (free for the first 3 years of ownership). You pair you phone via Bluetooth to the car radio to get the service.
We’ve never played fantasy baseball, but apparently fans must “scramble to get any kind of information about the very best players they should be putting in their lineups,” said David Gersabeck, Sync Services product manager who appears in the video above. “This is all about giving our customers what they want. The Fantasy Update feature on Sync gives our customers fantasy baseball updates quickly and concisely using easy voice commands.”
With all this traffic and sports we are receiving behind the wheel, it’s no wonder, Ford is developing a car seat that monitors our heart rate. 🙂 –Bill D.
