Pioneer Electronics (USA) announced Junichi Naito as its new president and COO, who will lead Pioneer’s business operations for branded products including car electronics in the U.S.
He is also tasked with expanding Pioneer’s business opportunities by “overseeing the introduction of innovative new products that embrace new consumer behaviors, such as the increasing use of smartphones and tablet computers in audio and video systems,” said the company.
Naito joined Pioneer in 1984 and has headed up sales operations in Malaysia and Hong Kong. He also was in charge of establishing IT systems and networks for Pioneer in the Middle East and South America.
Naito’s appointment is effective this month.
