DICE’s Silverline Duo kit that lets you add both Sirius satellite radio and an iPod/iPhone to a factory car radio is now shipping.

DICE Duo kits are available for car models from Toyota, Lexus, Scion, Honda, Acura, BMW, Mini, Nissan and Infiniti. In December, DICE had pre-announced kits for BMW only.

DICE Duo shipsIf a user doesn’t want satellite radio, the kit will then allow a connection to Android, Blackberry or other devices for playback through the sound system (the SAT radio port can convert to an AUX port).

At CES in January, DICE also announced Livio Radio and iheartradio capability for the DUO and said more news on Internet radio will be announced by the end of the month.

The DUO also gives you HiFi audio (90dB signal to noise ratio with 20-20kHz frequency response at less than 0.1% THD). And it has a USB upgradable chip set. “Gone are the days when Apple OS changes mean the integration kits stop working in cars,” said the company.

Once the kit is connected, you can control the iPod/iPhone, satellite radio tuner or other devices through the car radio controls and touch screen as well as steering wheel controls. They may also work with an optional IR remote.

Firmware upgrades will enable specific app support in the “very near future,” said DICE.

The DUO also charges an iPod/iPhone. Suggested retail price for the kits are $189.99 each.
