Couldn’t resist this one…..Here’s an example of great guerilla marketing.
GM commissioned a 1.5 ton Play-Doh sculpture of the Chevy Orlando to help promote the launch of the car in the UK.
Then they parked the car in the street and let everyone’s inner child take over. I’m surprised no one’s bitten into it to register their teeth marks.
The company researched the top ten most nostalgic toys and found Play-Doh topped the list. So naturally, they commissioned 8 model makers to build a replica of the 7-seater car. It took two weeks to construct what is now the world’s biggest Play-Doh sculpture.
Maybe Ford should counter with a giant Sync. Or the 12 Volt Initiative might ponder a giant subwoofer…. All in fun everyone.

Why would the 12 Volt Initiative ponder anything related to the 12 Volt industry? They already fixed everything with their “viral” video…..
