Here’s the type of car alarm installers love to hate. It’s aimed at DIY’ers who own classic and muscle cars and want to add an alarm without altering the car.
The Qube requires only a 2 wire—power and ground—install. It uses a wireless air-pressure sensor plus voltage drop and shock sensors. When armed, if you open the car door, the alarm sounds because it can sense a sudden drop in voltage (as the dome or interior lights come on). There’s also a shock sensor, so towing the car will trip the alarm and a wireless pressure sensor that also detects changes in the car cabin when the door is opened.
The system includes 2 key fobs, a base unit, mounting brackets, and wireless air pressure sensor.
It’s suitable for most cars but it’s touted as providing peace of mind for classic car owners who have trouble staying calm while at a restaurant, least someone steal the true love of their lives.

So judging by the picture of the Qube, it’s rendered useless if you pull out the cigarette lighter adaptor?
Great analogy: Wealthy older customer spends a boatload of money on a classic car, then decides to spend only $129 to protect it!

I can’t believe people get paid good maoney to design stuff like this!
