Clarion, which supplies many navigation systems for Ford, said its voice-activated navigation system in the Ford Fusion won the J.D. Power & Associates’ “Highest Satisfaction” award.

Also, the Clarion navigation system in the Ford Flex took the second slot, followed by the Clarion navi systems in the Ford Taurus and Lincoln MKS.

Ford and Clarion co-developed the navigation systems that are installed in twenty-two 2010 model year vehicles.

In total, Clarion navigation systems in Ford and Lincoln vehicles took 6 of the top 10 ranked slots for appearance, navigation display, routing and speed of the system, in the J.D. Power & Associates 2010 Navigation Usage and Satisfaction study, said Ford and Clarion.

Over the past five years, Clarion has received seven J. D. Power top awards for in-dash navigation or multimedia systems, they said.
