And of those, the most popular phones are the iPhone and the BlackBerry, tied with a 27 percent share each. BUT, Android phones now have a 22 percent share, says Nielsen.
As for the future, for those who plan to buy a smartphone, Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android were tied for the “most desired” operating system.
