Pandora Radios Expected at CES

Kenwood gave a sneak preview of its lineup to be unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show stating it will join the Pandora fray and offer 9 head units with Pandora control over an iPhone.

Pandora-controlling radios should be popular at CES in January as Alpine already stated in October that it would include the feature in many of its head units for 2011.

“I expect to see the industry embracing it very strongly in 2011,” said an Alpine spokesman. The company launched earlier this year, what it calls the first Pandora radio– the CD-less model IDAX305S at about $349. Pioneer also launched earlier this year two Pandora models—the AVIC-X920BT and AVIC-Z120BT.
