JBL will ship two new car DSP amplifiers with an on-board, menu-driven digital signal processing menu designed to take guess work out of setting up amplifier sensitivity, said the company.
Shipping at the end of October, the models S-A5001 and MS-1004 are compact DSP amps that to connect to any RCA wires with no line-level adapters required. They have a graphical set up system and they may be used with a wireless remote control that can control multiple amplifiers.
The MS-A5001 is a 500 watt mono amp and the MS-A1004 handles 100 watts x 4. They are expected to be priced in the $500 range.
