Glitches for iPhone 4 Pre-Order; Could Apple Sell 2 Million in First Week?

Through the weekend, Apple will sell 2 million instead of the usual 1 million iPhones, it typically moves during an iPhone launch, predicts Dan Frommer of Business Insider.
The jolly forecast comes as Apple appeared unable to handle the pre-orders for the iPhone 4 that started Tuesday and many customers received messages such as “There was a problem with your request,” said numerous news and blog sites including Reuters.
Based on the long lines for pre-ordering the iPhone 4 (that’s pre-ordering) in the U.S. and Japan and the fact that there are now millions of iPhone owners that can upgrade, Frommer expects Apple to announce at around 9 am on Monday, June 28, that Apple has shipped 2 million devices or more.
