TomTom Adds More PNDs with Lifetime Traffic/Map Updates

TomTom is continuing to rollout new portable navigation devices (PNDs) with lifetime traffic and/or map updates. Each feature (either map updates or traffic updates) is a one-time $30 premium built-in to the price.
Shipping this month is a new TomTom XL 350 and XXL 550 PND series in 4.3-inch and 5-inch respective screen sizes. They have sleek displays, lane guidance, an easy to use interface, and IQ Routes that uses historical traffic patterns for time of day to calculate the fastest route). They also include maps of North America and 7 million points of Interest, starting at $169 for the basic 4.3-inch XL 350 and $199 for the basic 5-inch XXL 550. The XL 350M, XL 350TM, XXL 550M and XXL 550TM give you map updates every few months. The 350T, XL 350TM, XXL 550 T, XXL 550 TM give you traffic updates as you drive with updated arrival times. (Those models with the TM delineation give you both maps and traffic at a total $60 premium; the models with a T or M designation add either Traffic or Maps at a $30 premium).
