Nintendo seems to be going academic. We already saw the first eBook in the U.S. announced for the Nintendo DS, and now there’s a push to place DS gaming handhelds in schools.
Japanese video game guru Shigeru Miyamoto is devoting much of his time to getting the DS into junior high schools in Japan, says the Associated Press. It’s a wise move on Nintendo’s part because pretty soon, kids will be carrying eReaders. So why not grab a share of that pie?
