AAMP of America announced it has reorganized and formed AAMP Global, the new umbrella company for AAMP of America, Rosen and Armour Automotive.

In addition, it has consolidated AAMP of America’s many brands, into 7 “power” brands.  Best Kits, which makes dash kits and accessories for car radios, is now part of PAC and will be known as Best Kits by PAC.

Instead of three separate companies, AAMP of America, Armour Autmotive (a UK based OEM automotive company AAMP purchased in 2013) and Rosen, purchased in May, now become one global company.

“Before we had separate companies and we weren’t looking at [markets] from a global perspective,” said AAMP VP Marketing Marie Still.  “We’re taking our product road map and our technology development and instead of looking at it from pockets of one-off companies in the UK, California and Florida, were taking a global look” she added.

AAMP Global is also in the process of hiring a Far East director, she said.

There are now three general managers that report directly to Jonathan Weisberg, AAMP Global’s Chief Technology Officer.

Brett Riggs now oversees OEM integration including for PAC. Curt Kucera of Rosen now oversees infotainment including Rosen, Stinger, Roadkill and Phoenix Gold.  Shaun Findley of Armour oversees safety and connectivity including Echomaster and iSimple.

The 7 AAMP “power” brands now include:

Echomaster — AAMP’s global safety brand, a consolidation of Intraphex safety products, VEBA and Echomaster.

Stinger — Audio accessories

Phoenix Gold- Remains a high power audio brand.

iSimple will focus on connectivity, with the new tagline freedom to connect.

PAC will be AAMP’s one- stop integration solution brand, BestKits will fold into the line as BestKits by PAC
