MESA, the Mobile Electronics Specialists of America car audio buying group, announced it is expanding into a new category: leather seat interiors with a new vendor partner, Roadwire.

The move follows the group’s expansion into window tinting with Solar Gard, a year ago.

“We are continuing to try to find areas that will bring new customers into our member locations,” said MESA Executive Director Ryan Gunter.

Roadwire sells aftermarket leather seats and seat heaters that are designed to match the factory look of many vehicles. It also sells aftermarket electronics such as backup camera systems and blind spot detectors, as well as sunroofs and other products.

“… this partnership will allow our members to easily enter this category with focused trainings and support. Roadwire also offers significant upside for members already participating in this category.”

Roadwire Senior VP Dave Edmondson. “After the original vehicle sale, opportunities are enormous and we must continue to focus on these automotive dealership lost sales.”

MESA now has 126 car audio retail members including 54 “platinum” and 72 “gold” members.

Other MESA vendors include

AAMP of America, AudioControl, Audiovox, Atrend, BlendMount, Directed, ESCORT, Hertz, HushMat, JL Audio, Kenwood, Pioneer, Rockford Fosgate, Scosche, SiriusXM, Solar Gard, and XS Power.
