BOSS Audio and its sister brand Planet Audio are now shipping their first CarPlay radios, each at a $349 street price, the lowest introductory prices to date for aftermarket CarPlay radios that work in any car.
The radios, already on Crutchfield and Amazon, are mechless (CD/DVD-less) and each has a 6.75 inch capacitive touch screen.
The decks also include 24-bit Hi-Res Audio capability for FLAC and WAV files.
The models BOSS Audio BVCP9675 and Planet Audio PCP9800 include Bluetooth audio streaming and calling, AM/FM radio, USB charging and rear camera inputs. Cosmetics differ between the two brands.
