SCOSCHE Industries announced the availability of a what it calls the first car radio dash kit to include two full color touch screens to control a vehicle’s AC and other systems.

The new kit is for the 2010 – 2014 Chevrolet Camaro.  It is configurable for single and dual climate controls, allowing the replacement of a factory stereo with an aftermarket single or double DIN radio.

The kit model ITCGM01B requires no complex programming or cutting of any of the OEM wiring during installation.

Scosche says the kit is the first of its next generation Integrated Touchscreen Control Installation Kits (ITC 2.0) and other models will follow for the Ford Mustang and F150 and more in the coming months.

The kit allows factory steering wheel controls to operate most aftermarket radios, including models from Sony, Alpine, Pioneer, Kenwood, Clarion and JVC.  It is not compatible with factory navigation equipped vehicles. For vehicles equipped with OnStar, the CAMOSM is required and sold separately.

The ITCGM01B has a suggested retail price of $389.99.
