VAIS Technology is shipping a new SiriusXM interface for select Volkswagen models 2016 model year and newer.
GSR allows you to add SiriusXM satellite radio directly to your vehicle. You can control all SiriusXM channels through your factory radio without replacing it. GSR requires a SXV300 universal SiriusXM tuner. A GSR tuner kit includes both the GSR interface module plus a SXV300 tuner.
The interface lets you browse channels using the factory radio controls. You can search by channel, category or 36 presets.
The GSR offers plug and play installation. It connects to your radio either directly into a factory USB port or through the back of the radio.
VAIS says, “Our unique technology allows you to keep all factory installed components such as iPod/iPhone add-on, 6-disc CD changer, CD/DVD changer, rear seat entertainment system or any other equipment you may have installed in your vehicle.”
GSR interfaces are also available for Toyota, Scion, Honda, Ford, Dodge, Nissan, Porsche, Mazda, GM, Mercedes, Volkswagen or Subaru vehicles.
