Here’s one of the latest ads from the Mobile Electronics Specialists of America (MESA) buying/marketing group promoting various car audio sales held year round. The ad shown was adopted by retailer Sound Warehouse.
It’s the sixth out of 7 new ads promoting sales and it was released last month.
In the past MESA ads featured actors in car audio lifestyle scenarios. Car-Fi recently ran one of these ads during the Grammy Awards:
The newer ads are graphics based, and promote the following sales: Max From Your Tax, Inventory Blowout, Amp and Sub Sale, Anniversary Sale, and Garage Sale. Also in the series are two ads that were delivered to retailers last year: Black Friday and Not So Silent Night.
The Garage Sale commercial is set to be delivered to members by the end of this month.
The ads may be used on TV or cable, published to a retailer’s YouTube channel and may also run on web sites and social media or as Pandora ads.
MESA has become one of the largest sources for advertising in the 12 volt aftermarket.
“It’s collectively raising awareness for sure. If you take into account all we do with TV commercials, our deals with Groupon and the deals we have with Pandora, all the sale in a box materials and email templates that go out on a monthly basis, the group is one of the most promotional organizations in 12 volt,” said Executive Director Ryan Gunter.
MESA’s 132 members account for about $270 million in sales with 255 store locations.
