Benchmark training for installers

WILSONVILLE, OR–Benchmark Trainings combines the talents of a leading installer, Jason Kranitz and 12 volt sales trainer Del Ellis, in  a “school” called “Nucleus” training.

The upcoming Nucleus training sessions will be held April 5-7, June 7-9, and September 13-15, all at the Kingpin Car Audio facility, with staff serving as additional instructors and helpers.  The three-day sessions will include two groups of attendees that will switch between sales and installation training.

Sales techniques taught will include getting customers off the phone and into the store without disclosing pricing, and selling the store’s brand as opposed to product brands.  The training will also focus on using rapport to increase average ticket amounts. Installation sessions include time-saving techniques on fabrication projects, building better-sounding subwoofer enclosures, and using testing equipment to prevent installation errors.

Kranitz owns Kingpin Car Audio in Wilsonville, OR and was named Installer of the Year by Mobile Electronics Magazine for 2013. Ellis is a sales trainer often appearing at KnowledgeFest and a former retail store owner.

“With Nucleus trainings, we want to deliver a high-value experience that encompasses the two most important elements of profitability in the store,” said Ellis. “Being able to bring customers in and sell them quality, profitable product that exceeds their expectations is absolutely critical. In addition, installing the equipment in a way that gives them a personalized, enjoyable in-car experience day after day is what creates the long-lasting impression that gets them to come back.”

Benchmark Trainings will also hold on-location Nucleus sessions for individual stores or groups. For more information call Jason Kranitz at (503) 582-1315 or Del Ellis at (559) 259- 2932.
