Pandora is adding on average a new user every second and now has 90 million registered users, up from 80 million in February.
People listened to Pandora for 3.8 billion hours in total last year and the company holds a 50 percent share of Internet radio listening time among the top 20 stations in the U.S.
As it’s about to go public, Pandora indicated it may launch at $7 to $9 a share, which would could raise $142 million.
While the company brought in record revenue of $43 million in Q1, it lost $6.7 million and has yet to turn a profit, said CNN Money.–Lynn Shannon
