Lucus Lighting SEMA

Press Release (UNEDITED): Itasca, IL- Lucas Lighting will be at SEMA 2026 (North Hall, booth #10119) demonstrating the new LL-DL2 driving light kits.  These kits are the first externally mounted products from the company.

The compact two-inch light kits are designed to be mounted on all vehicle types, providing both high and low beam primary or secondary illumination.  Examples would be extending the visibility range of vehicles with existing headlights, adding headlights to vehicles that didn’t include them or simply improving performance in fog or snow conditions.

The system can be controlled by either an included remotely mounted switching system, or wired for automatic on/off via separate high and low beam triggers.  The switching system provides additional features including dual beam simultaneous output and five different emergency strobing patterns.  If both the triggers and controller are wired together, automatic functions can be overridden by the push of a button.

Two mounting options are included in the kit.  A “U” style bracket can be attached to the top, bottom or either side depending on the application.  A compression style bracket can be used to attach to bars up to 1.5 inches in diameter.

Kits are available with either a white output for high and low beam (LL-DL2WW) or with amber output for low beam and white for high beam (LL-DL2AW).  Both versions maintain a perfect low beam cutoff line to avoid glare for oncoming traffic.  Tests have shown reduced driving fatigue and better vision using amber output in fog or snow conditions.

The kits are available to order now with expected shipment in November with a MAP price of $249.95 for the kit.  For more information, visit us at www.lucas-lighting.com.
