Adding a subwoofer to your car usually involves making a choice: more bass or somewhere to put the shopping. Morel reckons its new Primo SL active enclosures can deliver both.
Primo Slimline Active Subwoofers combine shallow enclosures with a built-in 350W RMS amplifier, offering a compact bass upgrade for factory and aftermarket audio systems.
Available in 8-inch and 10-inch versions, both models feature high and low-level inputs for straightforward integration with a wide range of vehicles.
The enclosures are designed to work in down-firing, up-firing or vertical configurations, with removable feet featuring built-in Velcro hook pads to help secure them in place. A cast-aluminium Lotus grille is included, while a remote bass controller allows the driver to adjust the level from the front of the vehicle.
There’s also a quick-disconnect power terminal, allowing the enclosure to be removed when you need the full boot for something other than bass.
The 8-inch model measures 42cm wide, 32.6cm deep and 16.5cm high, while the 10-inch version is 46cm wide, 33.8cm deep and 16.5cm high.
