Kicker Vet Launches 12V Digital Marketing Agency

It's your biggest audience, traffic from Google rather than social media.

Thirty-year industry veteran and former Kicker employee Bill Braun has launched Tune Digital Marketing to help dealers with the two areas where most struggle–getting attention online and converting viewers to customers.

The firm offers copywriting, social media and Google Ads strategy, backed by analytical reporting.

Braun says most small businesses approach social media backwards.  They concentrate on the sale first, where they should focus on winning customers’ trust first.  “We as an industry are fixated way too much on two facets of a sale—what the product does and how much it costs.  There’s precious few people focusing on what decisions you have to make to find the right product.”

Braun advises, “Be the shop with the answers. Help them understand the difference between an inexpensive speaker and a premium one, or explain what sound deadening does, for example. These insights don’t just build authority—they build the beginnings of loyalty. When a customer is ready to buy, they go with the people they trust.”

He also challenges the way most retailers approach web content. While social media drives some website traffic, Google search often drives 50 percent of a site’s visitors.  So, Tune focuses on local and national keyword search behavior, then builds content and ad strategies around what those customers are actively looking for.

“When it comes to marketing, combining analytics with Google ads and compelling web content is one of the most powerful tools out there,” Braun adds. “Knowing what drives business through the door, and scaling it to increase that business—that’s how your shop thrives.”
