The EISA awards recognize some of the top international products in car audio and other consumer electronics categories.
For 2024-2025, the award for best car audio head unit went to Sony for its XAV-9550ES, the top-of-the-line Sony 10.1-inch floating radio in Europe, similar to the XAV-9500ES in the US.

The XAV-9550ES includes a single DIN chassis and a separate screen. It uses an audiophile grade DSP and DAC (digital to audio converter) and offers Hi-Res Audio playback. EISA, the Expert Imaging and Sound Association, calls the XAV-9550ES “the most advanced aftermarket head-unit for cars on the market today.”
EISA is a group of 56 technology magazine, website and social media commentators from 27 countries that cover HiFi, home theater, photography, video and in-car electronics.
