Mobile Electronics Industry Hall of Fame – Class of 2026 Inductees Announced

Press Release (UNEDITED): North Andover, Mass. – The Mobile Electronics Association proudly introduces the class of 2026 for the Mobile Electronics Industry Hall of Fame, honoring individuals whose contributions have profoundly shaped the industry. Selected by a distinguished nomination committee, including executive leadership from the Mobile Electronics Association, the 2026 class represents inductees from manufacturing, engineering, sales representatives, and retail sectors.

The Class of 2026 inductees are:

  • Mike Anderson – Former Executive Director, Alpine Brand Business Unit – Alps Alpine North America, Inc.
  • Micah Ansley – Founder, AAMP of America / American Garage
  • Peggy Finley – Former President and Owner of K40
  • Ron Freeman – Former President and CEO of AAMP Global
  • Darrell Issa – Founder and former CEO of Directed Electronics
  • Rick Kojan – Former National Sales Manager for Sony Car Audio
  • Pat Lavelle – Former President and CEO of VOXX International
  • Keith Lehmann – Former Executive Vice President of Kenwood USA Corporation
  • Jeffrey Maron – Founder Osprey Car Audio and Alarms

The members of this class have shaped the mobile electronics industry in ways that will outlast their careers,” said MEA Chairman Tony Frangiosa. “Their creativity, their business leadership, and their commitment to this industry set the direction we follow today.”

The inductees, along with their families and friends, will accept the Hall of Fame awards at an induction ceremony during KnowledgeFest Las Vegas in 2027. MEA will announce the date and location later. “The Hall of Fame exists so this industry keeps a record of the people who built it,” said Chris Cook, President of the Mobile Electronics Association. “These nine belong in that record.”
