LinksWell has launched a new IQ series of vehicle-specific radios that offer smaller screens (at 11.5-inches) than the company’s current 12.1” T-Style and 15.6” XL line.
The IQ 2 system works with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. As other Android-based LinksWell radios, it allows users to download apps directly from the Google Play store. The screen is optically bonded and has 2000 by 1200 pixel resolution. It is based on a Qualcomm Octa-core, 4gB RAM/64GB Memory processor running Android 13OS.
It works with vehicle specific kits for Camaros, Silverados and Tahoes, Dodge Ram, Chrysler Jeep Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, Compass, Wrangler, Gladiator, For F150s, Toyota Tacomas, and Tundras.
The IQ 2 series comes with a vehicle specific kit, harness, antenna adapter, and other accessories. Pricing starts at $699.95
Some of the model years covered are as follows:
Silverado from 2014 to 2021; F150s from 2009-2012; Jeeps from 2011 to 2024; Tacomas from 2005-2023 and Camaros from 2010-2018.
The radios have a standard one-year warranty and can be returned for repair or exchange.
Other features include: a 48 band EQ 4 V pre-amp (front, rear, center, sub) and optical and coax out (2ch).
