Here’s another reason to add a great sound system to a UTV. Five states now allow UTV owners to drive on public roads, the latest being South Carolina.
A law was signed this month by Governor Henry McMaster of South Carolina legalizing UTVs on roadways. The law is due to take effect November 22. The state now joins Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Tennessee in offering UTVs the same road privileges.
UTV drivers, however, must follow certain regulations to take to the streets, according to the new law. The UTV must include seat belts, headlights, turn signals, brake lights and windshields or eye protection worn by the driver. See more at The Drive and Fox Carolina.
