Vueroid introduces a new QHD dashcam

VUEROID, a high tech manufacturer of dashcams with several proprietary features, announced a new, more affordable version of its current 4K model.

The new S1 QHD Infinite dashcam retains Vueroid’s advanced heat control and AI image sharpening features, but steps down to QHD resolution.

VUEROID says its products are built on a new platform. If a car heats up to a certain temperature, the dashcam will shut down and automatically resume when the temperature climbs back up.

James Kim of VUEROID said most of the SD cards used in dashcams must be reformatted about every six months due to file fragmentation. He said VUEROIDs file system prevents this fragmentation.

VUEROID dashcams can be set to automatically turn off to preserve battery life in safe areas like your garage, and then turn back on automatically when you leave.

VUEROID claims a low return rate of well under 1 percent.

The company started as a semi-conductor manufacturer called Next Chip in 1997 and moved into the CCD camera market.  It has been producing dashcams for other companies and said it has manufactured 4 million dashcams over the past five years.  In September, it entered the US dashcam market with the S1 4K Infinite.
