Mercedes-Benz issued a recall due to the infotainment control unit’s software in over 144,000 vehicles. It told NHTSA that the control unit can trigger too many system resets, resulting in the digital instrument cluster’s display temporarily going blank. Critical information may be lost, which could contribute to a crash, reported CarandDriver.
Included in the recall are 2024-2026 model year AMG GT, C-class, E-class, SL-class, CLE-class, and GLC-class vehicles.
