Soundstream Reserve motorcycle radio first with this feature

Epsilon Group under the Soundstream Reserve and Precision Power or PPI banners, has launched a Harley-Davidson radio with wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, featuring a 7.7-inch screen in a single-DIN chassis. Epsilon said its the only single DIN motorcycle radio certified for CarPlay and Android Auto.

The WHD.9813 is engineered with an oversized lip on the display to meet the installation requirements of 1998-2013 Harley Davidson motorcycles. To explain, the Street Glide and Road Glide both use a lip around their single DIN radio openings, which acts as a factory waterproof seal between the radio and the electrical components inside the fairing. Both the Soundstream Reserve and PPI units preserve this seal by including radio gaskets for maintaining the factory seal.

The WHD.9813 retains the OEM handlebar controls and connects directly to the factory Harley Davidson AM/FM antenna. The unit features a IPX5 water resistant faceplate, and includes the following features:

  • Retains OEM mounting hardware – no extra brackets or trim panels needed.
  • Handles factory AM/FM antenna connection—no adapters required.
  • Compatible with handlebar controls—ride without compromise.
  • 21” USB cable for versatile installation.
  • Water-resistant faceplate for all-weather reliability.
  • 7.7” HD capacitive touchscreen for a smooth, bright display.
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay® & Android Auto® integration.
  • Bluetooth® connectivity for audio playback and control.
  • Video camera RCA input with 12v trigger & on-screen shortcut.
  • 4-channel built-in amplifier with 2-ohm stability.
  • 5-volt RCA outputs for advanced audio setups.
  • 15-band digital equalizer with custom EQs and presets.
