Jensen announced a new lineup of four head units, three of which replace earlier models and one that expands the line.
Two of the models add a programmable RGB LED illuminated ring, a feature currently found on Jensen’s largest-screened radios.
The new models are capped by the CAR140MW-R, a fully-featured deck with a 10.1-inch LED-backlit touchscreen. It offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto ,and iDatalink Maestro and Metra Axxess readiness for factory feature retention. The radio is SiriusXM-Ready, and includes the IllumiNITE RGB light ring. Street price is $469.99.
Also new is the CAR1013-R, which combines a “floating” 10.1-inch screen with an adjustable mount for height, tilt, and pivot. Features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, programmable RGB LED IllumiNITE ring around both the main control knob and the screen, plus dual camera inputs to add rear and front cameras. Street price is $369.99.
In the 7-inch category is the CAR716, a value priced 7-inch digital media receiver with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a vibrant display at $219.99 street price.
It is joined by the CAR716-BC, which adds a backup camera at $239.99.
Kevin Kastner, Senior Director of Product and Marketing at Dual Electronics Corp. said the receivers offer “the perfect balance of performance and value.”
