MSC’s Demo Strategy Takes Award

Press Release: Mobile Solutions Calgary (MSC) took the award for Best Booth at the recent MasterTech Expo, with an unusual display, highlighting the art of the demo.

MSC, the North American Distribution Partner for Audiotec Fischer, BLAM Audio, and Uniden,displayed three identical 2026 Volkswagen GTIs side by side. The cars were painted red, white, and blue so attendees could easily tell them apart. But the colors weren’t just for looks, each car represented a different level of audio quality.

The three identical GTIs were same model, same interior, same option packages, except for the sound systems. The MSC Team took the identical theme further by using a Bluesound Vault, a home audio streaming device, that streamed identical quality of music to each vehicle simultaneously to insure a fair comparison.

This allowed listeners to hear the tangible differences between the $2500, $3500 and $6000 upgrades. For example, the white GTI had an OEM setup using the factory speakers with an 8-channel Helix amplifier. The red GTI added Helix’s i3 speaker system with dual 8-inch subwoofers. While the blue GTI utilized custom A-pillars, created by Tyler Neault of Audio Innovations, using Helix’s i5 3-way speaker set-up.

MSC’s Team drove all three cars over 3,000 miles round trip from their home base in Calgary, Canada, to Mesa, Arizona. Helix’s new International Sales manager, Peter Steinbacher, made an appearance from the UK. Steinbacher said, “There is nothing like this event in the UK, this show is amazing”.

MSC Team won First Place honors in both Best Vendor Training and Best Booth Experience at the recent 2026 MasterTech Event.
