RDVFL has launched new replacement screens for Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Two different screens are available for each vehicle maker including a Linux based version and an Android OS version for each.
RDVFL is offering 100 SKUs in the new series, including harnesses, brackets and replacement screens for the many different models from the 3 car makers (model years 2007-2019).
The screen upgrades replace only the OEM screen and not the radio itself. The OEM screen is removed, and the new screen is connected to the factory wiring with vehicle specific mounting brackets and plug n’ play harnesses. “The OEM radio works and functions 100% through the new screen,” said Rich De Sclafani of RDVFL. The factory controls continue to operate the radio.
The products range from a Linux-based 8.8” OEM fit touchscreen and wireless CarPlay upgrade to an Android OS- based 12.3” fully-loaded screen running wireless CarPlay as well as apps such as YouTube and Netflix.
