Pioneer Electronics launched a wide array of 12-volt accessories at the 2025 SEMA Show, as the company branches further into security and adds sound dampening.
Shipping now are three good, better, best dashcams as well as new premium speaker mounts that are metal reinforced for better decoupling. The company is also showing separate sound dampening sheets.
Pioneer also displayed new rigid die-cast metal-reinforced speaker ring adapters for dampening and decoupling. Additional sound dampening sheets ship around Q2 2026.
The dashcam line starts with a super mini single camera model VREC-H120 with a 1.5K camera. The step up VREC-H520DC has a built-in screen and a separate rear camera. It is able to work offline without the use of an app, as prefered by some consumers.
The top end dual camera model VRECZ820DC as well as the VREC-H520DC use the Sony Starvis image sensor chips with proprietary software for ultra night vision, which eliminates glare or a halo effect, so it is easier to see details such as a license plate number.
The VREC-Z820DC and the VREC-H520DC provide lane departure warning, and G-sensor technology to detect impacts. Early crash warning is also part of the line, which began shipping this month.
