Firstech, maker of DroneMobile, announced a new Drone XT GPS Tracker that can be used for boats, ATVs, UTVs, trailers, as well as vehicles.
Where typical trackers are hardwired into the vehicle or plugged into the OBD2 port, the Drone XT is battery powered and wireless. It is a magnetic GPS tracking solution that can be controlled from within the existing DroneMobile app.
The Drone XT’s non-invasive, battery-powered design removes the need for complex, hardwired installation, allowing users to protect many different assets.
Firstech said annual losses of construction and marine theft alone exceeds $1 billion and is on the rise.

Following a 30-day free trial, Drone XT requires a subscription for LTE and GPS functionality.
Subscriptions begin at $11.99/month, with discounts for prepaid plans.
The Drone XT will be officially unveiled at the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, NV, from November 4-7, North Hall at Booth #10221.
