Vault 12v Marketing, a national manufacturer’s rep firm since 2020, has launched a wire and accessories brand called Vault Power. It offers power cable, speaker wire, and other accessories, as well as lithium and sodium ion batteries.
Vault Power began supplying wire last year, offering only virgin copper wire. It also supplies two lithium ion batteries for Harley Davidson bikes, including the 41Ah (Amp-hour) high capacity battery ($799) that fits under the seat. It has an onboard battery management system to protect from over- or under-charging. It is joined by a 28 Ah model ($849) and sodium 20Ah battery ($419).
Vault is introducing an upgraded lid for the Sodium Na20 and Lithium HD41 batteries that offers 4 power and 4 ground terminals for ease of installation in Harley Davidson and other vehicles. The new lid offers direct drop in while using the factory Harley factory lugs.
Vault said it resisted raising prices on copper wire for most of the year but recently had a small increase to cover recent spikes in shipping costs. Vault said its 0 gauge wire rose by 10 to 15 percent.
Vault principal Kevin Holden said the company was one of the first to sell a sodium battery back in 2023. Sodium uses a safer chemistry and it has a larger operating voltage range—6 to 16 volts. It works in cold climates better than lithium and also has a high heat tolerance, said Holden.
In addition to the 20Ah sodium battery that fits in Harley motorcycles as well as cars, Vault offers sodium 60 Ah and 100Ah models. Pricing on the sodium line ranges from $419 to $849.
