The Headrest Safe offers new compact model.

The Headrest Safe Company, the two-year old supplier of headrest safes for vehicles, announced a new compact model for sedans and luxury vehicles. It also recently announced its products will be sold in all Tint World locations.

The newest safe is slimmer than the two earlier models and is appropriately called  The Compact. It is a headrest with a built-in safe that uses a simple keypad lock to open the safe door, similar to a hotel-style lock.  It provides enough room to store firearms, cash, identification documents, and the like.

The Compact works in vehicles with a two-prong headrest post. Users replace the headrest with the headrest safe, which locks into place with a toggle bolt that deploys when inserted into the seat. The retail price is $299.

It’s designed to be installed on the passenger side, with an option of a bundle that offers a matching driver side headrest (the companion headrest doesn’t include a safe).

In addition to Tint World, The Headrest Safe has a network of 15 to 20 independent specialists.

“Car owners, no matter their vehicle, should feel comfortable traveling and storing their items away safely,” said Louis Tuck, COO and CFO of The Headrest Safe Company.

The safe uses high quality materials, including automotive grade coverings, an 18-gauge steel safe, a 16-gauge steel door and a steel lock. Based in Alabama, The Headrest Safe Company products are assembled in North America.
