Garmin announced two new JL Audio models — a Stealthbox Enclosed Subwoofer for Ford F-150 models and a new C6 Three-way Component Speaker System.
The Stealthbox is for the F-150 SuperCrew (2009 and newer) and SuperDuty Crew Cab (2017 and newer). It contains two 12-inch TW3 thin-line subwoofers in a sealed, downfiring enclosure.
The unit has a power handling of 800 watts and installs under the rear bench seat without affecting the folding or reclining of the seat, said Garmin.
It is available now at a suggest retail price of $2,199.99
The C6 Three-way Component System combines two full-frame 6.5-inch woofers with two 1-inch silk dome tweeters and two 2.75-inch midrange drivers along with passive crossover networks.
All C6 component systems include a premium filter crossover network that offers four levels of tweeter tuning and four levels of midrange adjustment. The system includes a fine mesh midrange grille and center cap designed “to optimize the high-frequency response of the woofer for seamless
transition from a tweeter.” A solid state tweeter protection circuit minimizes “overstress.”
The C6 is shipping now at $1,699.99 with a two year limited warranty.
