Pioneer Corporation announced it will begin manufacturing in-car products in India in 2026.
This follows Pioneer’s establishment of an R&D center in India in 2023.
A Pioneer press announcement said, the company “considers India as one of its high-priority markets outside Japan.” It also said the automotive industry has been enjoying high growth in India.
Pioneer also founded an R&D center in Germany as part of the company’s efforts “toward becoming a major player in the global arena,” it said.
