Mike Dixon, a leading car audio retailer, injured in accident.

A leading South Florida retailer Mike Dixon, owner of Audio Logic, was in a tragic accident recently. After months in the hospital he is facing steep medical bills, so a GoFundMe was established to assist him and his family.

On December 10, Dixon was on his way to work when he was involved in a major car accident. After being extracted from his truck, he was rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered multiple injuries, including several broken ribs, two collapsed lungs, and a severely broken ankle.

Dixon has recently been transferred to a rehabilitation facility. Although he’s making progress, the road to recovery will be long and challenging. He has already been in treatment for two months and the medical bills are piling up.

Dixon’s store of almost 40 years is the number one JL Audio dealer in the state of Florida and a fixture in Florida car and marine audio.  Dixon is a founding member of the Mobile Electronics Specialists of America buying group.  Those who meet him are privileged to encounter his great sense of humor and   “life of the party” exuberance.

Dixon got his start in the industry working for Paul Papadeas, the noted owner of Soundcrafters of South Florida and long time sponsor of the Spring Break Nationals.

A GoFundMe campaign was started by Bret Karuza, principal at Florida rep firm AMI Sales. All those who wish to help may visit https://gofund.me/efbdcd89
