SounDigital USA showed a new amplifier line at the recent KnowledgeFest in Las Vegas that improves sound quality and the ability to withstand vibrations in a motorcycle environment.
Called SounDigital XP, the line ranges in power from 400 watts RMS to 8,000 watts RMS and has improved internal components to decrease distortion while increasing efficiency and extending the frequency range of the amplifiers.
SounDigital said the XP combines key features of the EVOX2 and EVOPS lines for a “best of both worlds” lineup.
HKI USA, which imports SounDigital to North America, said the company has also updated the current flow capabilities within the XP amplifiers “to improve an already outstanding thermal control system,” and it has altered the amplifiers’ vibration absorbance capabilities to help survive harsh motorcycle environments.
