American Bass debuts motorcycle audio amplifiers.

American Bass announced its first motorcycle amplifiers under the VFL line at the SEMA Show last month.  It also announced new motorcycle speakers.

The new motorcycle Premium Biker Line will include six amplifiers to ship in January, tentatively priced from about $195 to $895.  The series includes three monoblock and three 4-channel amplifiers at 1 ohm.  They range from about 150 watts RMS x 4 to 8,000 watts RMS mono.

New Premium Biker speakers offer carbon fiber cones and pro audio sound in 6.5- and 8-inch sizes.

The new American Bass VFL amplifiers include monoblock models rated at 3,000-, 5,000 and 8,000 watts RMS.  These are joined by a 150 watt RMS x 4 model and a 300 watt RMS x 4 unit.  The monoblock models are tentatively priced at $395, $595 and $895.

American Bass is also adding heat sinks to the woofers in its Godzilla line to keep the woofers’ voice coil and magnets cooler and allow the speakers to play longer.  These include a new 8-inch Godzilla subwoofer rated at 1,200-watt RMS power handling.

Finally, American Bass will be updating its line of batteries in late January/early February.
