Press Release: TORRANCE, CA– Rydeen Mobile Electronics will display at the 2024 SEMA Show a new 8.2-inch video streaming mirror that is the brightest screen of its kind in the aftermarket, it said.
The PV8-B has a 1,600 cd TFT brightness rating for a clear and comprehensive view of the car’s surroundings. It comes with the Rydeen CM-AHD2 digital camera to provide a continuous live feed so users can see behind the vehicle even if the driver’s view is obstructed by headrests or packages in the back. The PV8-B is especially beneficial for vehicles like SUVs, crossovers, pickups, and vans with limited rear visibility.
The mirror essentially combines the functions of a rearview mirror and digital monitor, allowing you to view what’s behind you both day and night thanks to night vision and the camera’s HDR technology. The optional OED-01 dash cam records all events even in low-light conditions.
The mirror includes a second input, allowing users to add turn signal cameras (models CM-D700 AHD or CM-SIDE AHD) or a front-facing camera with an integrated DVR.
Adding optional Rydeen cameras provides a full rear view, which is especially useful when parking.
The compact design with the ability to mount on the universal mount CM-UNI2 ensures ease of use and installation in virtually any vehicle. Once installed, the mirror blends in seamlessly to the vehicle’s interior.
With a super bright 1080p high-resolution display for crystal-clear real-time viewing, the PV8-B’s 8.2-inch HD Screen Digital Mirror provides an OEM-like display.
