Fresh off its announcement of the purchase of Lithium Pros, the parent of XS Power and Sundown Audio, Systematic Holdings, announced it has acquired Ampere Audio.
Ampere will be offered as a more affordable line to Sundown Audio, said a spokesman for Systematic. And Systematic’s existing staff will handle the brand. Systematic expects to add new products to the Ampere Audio lineup in the coming months.
Ampere Audio was originally founded by Andrew Bailey in 2011. It offers a variety of subwoofers, as well as amplifiers and speakers. Bailey said, “Scottie and Systematic have been pushing the boundaries with innovation in the mobile electronics industry for nearly 30 years now, so giving the brand the opportunity to be continued within that network was an easy decision for me.”
Scottie Johnson, Owner and CEO of Systematic Holdings said Ampere Audio adds another cost-effective audio brand to Systematic’s portfolio. He added, “This announcement marks the 3rd major acquisition in the mobile audio community in the last year or so, which shows our commitment to contributing to and growing the mobile audio community. We look forward to continuing to support the industry and providing cutting edge products for consumers to enjoy for many years to come.”
A Systematic announcement said, “The staff at Systematic Holdings has numerous dedicated staff of mobile electronics experts and world-champion car audio competitors, ready to aid in expanding the Ampere Audio offering.”
More on the company’s direction will be released as it becomes available.
