AmpLinq installs between the radio and an aftermarket amplifier, allowing the replacement of the factory amplifier. It emulates the factory amplifier, allowing the original radio to control the aftermarket amplifier (volume, fader, balance, EQ, etc), eliminating the need for LOCs or channel summing, and using the existing factory harnesses, said GROM.
Initially, the AmpLinq will work with Toyota, Honda, Acura, Chrysler and some Ford vehicles. Eventually, almost all vehicles will be covered, said GROM.
Shipping is expected by Christmas at a price between $200 to $250, although final pricing will be determined in the coming weeks.
Topics include:
Types of OEM amplifiers and their strengths and limitations
Key considerations when planning an amplifier replacement
Measurable justification for the upgrade and best practices
Recommendations based on real-world measurements and data
GROM will display at booth #607 at KnowledgeFest at the Hilton Anatole and Convention Center in Dallas.
