LEATHER CRAFT by Rosen, the aftermarket leather seating line launched by VOXX earlier this year, is now offering retailers the ability to build-your-own custom replacement automotive leather upholstery for order through the leathercraft.pro website.
Dealers can design interior upholstery for a wide range of vehicle models. They can personalize leather interiors with custom stitching, piping, logos, accents, and luxury inserts.
Originally, LEATHER CRAFT offered leather kits for high volume cars and then Collector Editions–specialized leather upholstery for a few select cars.
“Now retailers can order Non-Stock kits and older model year or low volume car kits. But the biggest thing we’ve added is the ability for retailers to custom build a kit from the ground up. They pick the year, model and trim, the color– single color or two tone, special stitching, multiple color stitching, piping, inserts, and more with different pattern layouts. It gives the retailer the ability to build a kit specific to the customer’s need,” said Joe Caltabiano, VOXX VP of Vehicle Entertainment and Interiors.
The “Build a Custom Seating Kit” tool is a means of bringing in a different customer base, said Caltabiano, citing the customer who for whatever reason, did not buy leather seating at the time they purchased the car and can now build their own customized version.
VOXX entered leather seating under its Rosen brand in February.
