Crunch introduced a new line of amplifiers called V-Drive with built in VU meters.
Crunch is including an LED VU meter using LED indicators placed on top of the heat sink of the amplifier, “So you get a visual of how you’re going to tune the amplifier right where you need it,” said Andrew Falcone of Maxxsonics, Crunch parent company.
V-DRIVE compact amplifiers are available in mono, 2-channel, and 4-channel configurations. They come with an on-board electronic crossover and monitor-overload and speaker short protection with illuminated indicators on the amplifier end panel.
Maxxsonics’ is pursuing a design patent for the UV meter in the V logo of the amplifier.
