Parent company to Zapco and ESB, Apex Group Italy, announced it has appointed Chris Bennett as Director of US Sales.
Bennett will oversee and manage all US sales activities for both Zapco and ESB Audio Brands.
Zapco was established in 1974 and, for fifty years, and has helped set quality standards for amplifiers over the years, said the company.
ESB Audio is an Italian speaker company that has been manufacturing high end car audio speakers since 1986. The company made high fidelity home cabinets during its first dozen years before expanding into the automotive speaker category. ESB is currently shipping six different series of speakers with retail price points from $56.99 up to $3750.
Bennett has over 30 years of experience in mobile electronics, working for suppliers including Musway USA, Dynamat, AudioControl, and Metra Electronics. Prior to working with these brands, Bennett owned Audio Habitat, a successful independent 12v retail store in Grover Beach, CA.
Bennett said, “One of the reasons I wanted to be part of Zapco is it’s a legacy brand with some of the best sounding amplifiers that have ever been made. We’re just excited to make some changes and try to get the dealers the support they need to find success with Zapco and ESB.”
