The line uses inverted dome tweeters for more music detail and brighter highs. The speakers also use enhanced butyl rubber surrounds. The cone/surround connection utilizes a high-temperature adhesive, which assures the cone and surround do not separate in high power uses or extreme weather.

The MB Quart Discus speaker line includes 3.5-inch coaxial speakers, 4-inch coaxial speakers, 5.25-inch coaxial speakers, 6.5-inch coaxial speakers, 6.5-inch shallow mount coaxial speakers, 4×6-inch coaxial speakers, 5×7/6×8-inch coaxial speakers, 6×9-inch coaxial speakers, and a 6.5-inch component speaker system.
