Accessory maker ZZ2 has partnered with Road Angel, a leading dashcam supplier in the UK, to distribute their products in the US.
Road Angel’s Halo Pro dashcam was named a top 10 Product of the Year 2023 by the UK’s leading consumer rating outlet called Which?
Road Angel’s Gary Digva said the brand’s dashcams have grown to become the second biggest selling dashcam brand in the UK.
Road Angel offers a 3-year warranty on its products, which carry higher margins than some of the leading US brands, said ZZ2 VP Tiago Sperandio. The line includes 2K and 4K models. “They are in process of growing the line. This is going to be a very good partnership. They offer very good price points and the dealers are going to be able to make more profit on the product and installation.”
The Halo Pro 2K has a front 2K and a rear 1080p camera with 140-degree wide angle recording. It has a parking mode with a G-Sensor that triggers recording when the car is bumped or hit. It also has built-in GPS and it provides telematics data of your drive including info on acceleration, braking and cornering telemetry. Your drive is shown on a map for playback and reference.
The Halo Pro 2K uses an optic lens and CMOS sensor and it starts at $346.
